He was a longtime member of the Extraordinary Rendition Band, a PVD-based activist street band (performer, composer, arranger) and PRONK! organizing committee, focusing on booking music and building bridges between artists and local activist organizations.
A lifelong learner, seeker and creator, he is deeply committed to using music for healing, grounding, self-expression, cultural connection, digital archiving and resisting systems of oppression.
In addition to running the studio, gigging and teaching, Avi is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Music Production from Berklee College of Music.
